Prospective Students
Undergraduate/graduate students interested in my research can contact me by email or simply stop by my lab (Holt 109) to discuss research opportunities. Currently we are working on a number of projects ranging from paleontology and insect systematics to conservation genetics.

Undergraduate students can work/assist with a number of projects including:
 insect faunistics in Tennessee and Georgia
 photographing insects
 scanning electron microscopy (SEM) work with insects
 DNA extraction / PCR
 databasing the insect collection
 phylogenetic analyses
 taxonomic descriptions of both extinct and extant species
 insect collecting/preparation/labeling
